Men's brains are wired to be more attracted to curvey women which gives them an 'addictive' high.

This comes at a time when the size zero debate has resurfaced by allegations that Victoria Beckham hired a skinny model.

A group of men with an average age of 25 were shown pictures of women before and after surgery.  The women had not lost any weight but their new figures had classic 'hourglass' shapes, associated with fertility and overall health.

The 'hourglass' figure activated the area of men's brains associated with rewards.
