A teenager from North London has been banned from keeping a dog and fined two thousand pounds, after his pitbull style dog savaged a blind woman's guide dog.

John-Jo Madden from Cricklewood fled when his dog attacked Eleanor Burke's labrador Neela.

Madden was banned from keeping a dog for ten years, given a three month suspended jail term, one hundred and fifty hours of community service and fined two thousand pounds at Hendon Magistrates Court.
