The longest night bus route in London has become a warm haven for homeless people. The number 25, takes over two hours to get from one end to another.

This bus has become the top sanctuary for rough sleepers to get out of the cold.
In a three-day period, 31 homeless people were found on this bus, which runs between Oxford Circus and Ilford.

Charities now go to the bus depot to offer the homeless overnight accommodation, because a lot of the buses were taken out of service to remove the rough sleepers.

Timothy spends his days begging at Elephant and Castle. At night he has chosen to be a squatter. Listen to his views on bus squatting by clicking on tha audio link on the right.

I think it is a disgrace that there aren't better options for rough sleepers.
