The weather outside is frightful

Just when you thought it was a thaw thing that the snow was begining to go... things are begining to look a bit d-icey again.
Londoners woke up to fresh snowfall this morning, creating more problems for commuters, children getting to school and postmen and women everywhere.
Forecasters are expecting up to 4cm (1.5in) of snow in some parts, before the weather eases at the weekend. Met Office severe weather warnings apply to some parts of the capital and southern England.
Weather forecasters were predicting further snow and ice for London today, as the recent cold snap put this winter on course to be the UK's coldest for 30 years.
Dave Elliott, UK forecaster for the Met Office, warned that plummeting temperatures could be expected once again, and warned motorists to take extra care.
He said "In general, the capital is staying very cold and there will be further falls of snow at times.
"People should be prepared that there could be snow and some icy roads as it freezes in the evening."
The cold weather is expected to last at least until at least the weekend and probably into next week.
