Amir Khan could be heading to Las Vegas for his US debut.

The World Boxing Association says he's reached an agreement to defent his world lightweight title against Marcos Maidana.

The governing body says the contest would take place at the end of March or early in April, and could be staged either in Las Vegas or Manchester.
