The Italian Manchester City Manager is not happy with the players' current diets, and wants them to eat pizza and drink wine before matches.

"Let me give you an example - food before a match. You need chicken, pizza, carbohydrates, even a glass of wine." He said, according to the Daily Star.

Mancini has managed Fiorentina, Lazio and Inter Milan and is now on a three-and-a-half year contract with the Manchester club.

Most Barclays Premier League Managers refuse their players to drink alcohol before a game. Tottenham have got a 48-hour rule when it comes to alcohol before matches, and in Arsenal Arsene Wenger refuses the players to drink anything through the whole season.

The Arsenal-boss has also made the players provide urine-samples to make sure they stick to the rules.
